Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef tenderloin or sirloin steak
- 1/4 cup butter
- About 1/2 lb mushrooms (optional)
- 2 cans (10 1/2 oz each) condensed beef broth
- 1/2 cup instant minced onions
- 1/4 C catsup (optional)
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/3 C flour
- 2 Cups sour cream
- 10 oz uncooked medium noodles
- 3 Tbls butter
Instructions
Cut meat across grain into 3/4 inch slices then cut into about 3 in strips
Melt butter in large skillet. Cook and stir mushrooms in butter about 5 minutes. Set mushrooms aside
In same skillet brown meet. Set aside 2/3 C of the broth. Stir in remaining broth, onion catsup and garlic salt.
Cover and simmer about 30 minutes. Wisk the remaining broth and flour together.
Stir into meat. Add the mushrooms.
Heat to boiling. Stirring constantly. Boil and stir about a minute or two. Stir in sour cream
Cook noodles drain and toss with 3 Tbls butter. Noodles on plate stroganoff on top.
Serves 6 people
